LA tech shouldnt be involved in our box scores if not yet in our conference??

What? Read my post. Tech won't have any say in official Box Scores listed on ESPN and the SBC. They can print what they want on their own athletic website. I don't when the deal becomes official, and they join but it has been stated 2026-2027. Get it?

No matter how small ULM, LA Tech, and Louisiana's fan bases are respectfully, the same principle applies as if you were splitting LSU in three.

I ran into Dr Savoie in line at the movies last night (Superman)

I mentioned I hadn't talked to him since 2008 when I saw him picking up trash on campus at 5am (like a work hand)

He said he still picks up trash as a regular thing he does. (I think that is cool)

I mentioned Tech joining the conference. His response was measured and he put his head down (gave it a second) and said "it should lead to some good matchups."

I said "I wish we had been playing them regularly for the last 25 years."

He could have walked away thinking I was on board with the move.

I let it be, nothing to be gained after the fact and he had to find a seat.

He looked great (some pictures don't do him justice) he is a people person.

It was a civil chat among gentlemen. Ivey was candid, fun, self-aware, honest and full of information. Many questions discussed in this here message board were raised.

The purpose for this conversation was to shed some light on the many grey areas that go along with the realignment game, especially with this delicate dynamic between Tech and Louisiana.

But I do agree it further shows how ridiculous the blockade is between the Cox building and RR.
