We are in the midst of our most successful era of Cajuns football. We have achieved this without the association of La Tech.

Meanwhile La Tech is in their worst era of football. Which they achieved by chasing separation from ULM and us.

We do not need ULM or La Tech to be successful, but both of those programs need us.

So what benefits do they bring to our program?

Not saying you are right or wrong. I know nothing about how he feels towards athletics. But I do think it’s unfair to say maggard isn’t emotionally invested in this program. You can see his emotions on the sideline of every football game. Go look back at the game winning kick against Georgia southern and the kick wake forest doinked off the upright. He looks like a kid jumping up and down. I think it would be almost impossible to not be emotionally invested after all the years he has been here. Doesn’t mean I disagree with his scheduling or some other things.

I agree about his passion. If you see him during games, he's biting his fingers. You would swear he had money on the game.

The only "ONLY" plus I have seen offered is travel cost savings with Tech.

This is a false positive due to the fact that if travel costs mattered the two schools would have been facing each other annually for the last 25 years.

Travel costs did not matter.

So the answer is "none"
