How is it good for the SBC or UL for that matter?

It's not good for the current SBC in any fashion.

But, if your ultimate goal is to bring about the SBC 2030, this was a much needed addition.

They could have both voted no and latech could have still been added. Being with ULM hadn’t been our demise, latech being in a “better” conference wasn’t our demise, not sure how this will be. Unless you think them being on equal footing they are just better than us.

Neither fan sight nor Official site will agree to anything. The deal is with ESPN and SBC sites and media releases/box scores and live events. The deal begins in 2027-2028.
