The fact the Louisiana Tech lives rent free in the heads of many on this board is hilarious. Get over it. It's good for the conference. It's good from a revenue standpoint, it's an old rival. Look past your nose for God's sake.

Invite a cancer into your conference for the possibility of a short-term boost in revenue. Talk about not looking past your nose.

Dont expect for them to abide by the conference branding guidelines atleast until they are active members of our conference. They are still Cusa.

In this case it's good for no one.

Louisiana going independant was to stand out by building a P5 schedule to get an invite.

The LSU question is a irrelevant because they are already in a somewhat decent conference.

If hypothetically diluting them by a third is not good, then how can diluting a lesser conference by the same amount be anything but terrible.

I would never suggest he bad mouth Tech.

He doesn't have to say it's something it's not or ignore why he hasn't developed this relationship sooner without help.

He was being politically correct in his response..and public universities by extension are politicians, maybe dont hang on theior eveyr word in a press release or a news article. We will have to work together now more than ever in this state, it was the correct response.

When the universal goal is to stand out, Tech does not complement or fit well with a conference that already had two members from the same system and the same state, the geography makes zero sense.
