Why wouldn't they make the effort to explain this decision prior to the vote? You know, possibly get an idea of how the fans who donate feel about this. I wonder if they actually care about what we think. In my opinion, they don't give a s h i t about us. This will backfire on them.

ULM is all in on Tech! Why? They know it peaks curiosity and knows that it will grow fan support among the Monroevians and the Rustonians when they play. Eventually leading to more fans showing up!

I've been at it since 1989 once married and as a student before that time in the 1980's as a fan. I can tell you I'm not delusional, I'm just pretty much done with NCAA Sports. I think if you traveled the path of many long-time Cajun fans you would probably not care as much either. Whatever time I have left here on earth, it won't be spending my time stressing about what I can't change! At this point in my life, I'm going to enjoy wins and leave the _____ing up to others.

Would they have done the same favor if the roles were reversed and we were in a rotting conference. Hell no they wouldn’t.

So why in the hell would we have supported them joining the conference unless we’re led either by suckers or scrupleless people.

Coaches are not going to disrespect other programs in their league publicly. What is said behind closed doors is another matter. Come on, do you really believe they would embarrass their AD and President publicly? BTW, these coaches would much rather bus to Ruston than Texas State. Besides, they can stop and eat at Foote's favorite Chicken/Burger joint on the way.

If it made sense the two, schools would have already been playing each other every year for decades .

Athletic Directors should not need a conference to hold their hand and force their hand, only to state how, much they love the idea.
