Who is running it now? Was two sisters back before 2000. I retired and rarely on that side of town since. Was on the corner of Carmel and Marne Street, 2 blocks off Louisiana Avenue.

Never had a bad meal there.

Louisiana PoBoy in Time Plaza has been on our rotation for decades.

Give 99 Bistro a try for an excellent burger. River Ranch across from Another Broken Egg. Ground brisket and short rib. Small menu. Everything on it is really good.

Secret menu: get their caprese panini and ask for grilled chicken on it.

Used to hit the chicken on Tuesday and smothered steak on thursdays…and big G probably twice a week. I used to work about a mile away.

Dwyers is actually a great parallel to the current state of UL athletics and its diehard fans.

Its going to be interesting in the future to see what happens to these types of places that are popular for plate lunches and "huge portion sizes for the price!"
