The only fix to get UL to national prominence in the NIL world is to sell all or a portion of the football program to a PIF. The branding is unique that no one else has and could be used to grow in the collegefootball market share. The first few years would be rough for a PIF without substantial TV revenue, but that could be fixed over time and with conference movement. In reality this will never happen because the admin has no business sense or vision beyond their woe is me bubble. Think outside the box has never been a strong point of our university and it is frustrating as an alumni. We don’t have a coaching problem we have a money problem.
