Sounds like some impressive work is being done with our basketball program. Encouraging to hear.

Zero non D1 games is something a few have been asking for. Therefore it will be viewed as a positive and good news by many. In the past, it made sense to have a couple of non D1 schools as you paid the non D1 less than a lower level D1 and attendance was no different. However, there is a benefit of perception and even the lower level D1 school may do more to prepare your team for conference play. That does mean improved attendance overall will be required to justify continuing the policy in the future.
Great info Mike!
Think Marty had an all D1 OOC home schedule one year. The SWAC.
I was one of those requesting it. As a season ticket holder, it was always the 1-3 games I would mark off on my schedule as definitely not attending. While I hope attendance will be better for a D1 than a non early in the season, I realize that won't likely be the case. Hopefully any adjustments made to policy will not be overly reactionary. This program has been mired in apathy for some time. $800K+ in NIL is a promising sign though that not all interest is gone.
I’ve heard from a few sources inside the Mosing complex that this is Dez’s deepest roster at all positions. I’m told we go about 3-4 deep at every spot without a massive drop off. This team is hungry and they will be a problem.
