Makes sense, i just think with this type of uniform It would almost be to cluttered at the top. Its just a cleaner look.

Yeah, I thought they would clash, but they don’t at all. They actually work really well together. I think I prefer the double stripe on the helmet with that design the stripes just look better up top. Same thing with the shoulder stripes, That is an Adidas design. It all matches really well.

I tried to turn it into a catchers mask, it kind of got smushed a little halfway between cstcher and lacrosse? But it somehow added a little gold to the FDL, thought it looked cool. Thoughts?

Watching the Sweet 16 games and I don't see any team logo using their Moniker/Mascot, e.g. I vs UH (Illinois vs Houston), N vs I (Nebraska vs Iow), M vs A (Michigan vs Alabama), ISU vs UT (Iowa State va Tennessee).

If we were in such a position, would we not be Ragin Cajuns. Would we be UL or L? We need one of those logos to help establish our identity as Louisiana.

I agree! I think people need a visual representation, i think that logo does both (FDL) Cajuns, State (Louisiana )

I also love the black uniforms. The black look would be iconic a way to reshape something that could be worn 1–2 games a year and really turn some heads.
