I really appreciate the love, seriously. I actually reached out to the marketing department too at wearRed@louisiana.edu and never got a response. It probably just doesn’t align with their current branding direction.

At the end of the day, I genuinely enjoy doing this. As a fan, I just want to push the University’s branding as far as it can go. I really believe we can separate ourselves from the pack if we ever decide to lean into a stronger, more unified Louisiana identity.

We may not have the biggest NIL budget or a national championship in football, but branding is one area where we can stand out and lead.

And trust me I know there are designers out there who are way more talented than me. I’m just trying to contribute ideas and passion wherever I can.

If anyone has any branding ideas i love to hear it.

Against my norms, the L logo always seems not as clean as it should be, but this means we would have to use a different FDL. I find this to be much cleaner

I am not advocating replacing Ragin Cajuns but just doing a quick comparison.

I think that establishes the Louisiana name better then Ragin Cajuns.

Okay i been trying to get a really worthy L logo. i think this one looks great!!!? Hopefully it rises to HoustonCajun expectations.
