You bring this up; I was looking at two of our helmets today at Old Tyme. Those two stripes make it official.

You’d need to treat it as a separate alternate not part of the core set. The jersey stripes are fine, but double red or white stripes on the helmet? That would look funky and throw off the balance. I can not stand that. My OCD would not like that

• Helmet alternate: white helmet with the State + fleur-de-lis logo matches the rest of the uniform set. Technically it doesnt have to be that, it could be the white helmet with red script Cajuns logo no stripe or it would have to match the pants
• Special edition: for one or two games (like Homecoming), pair that helmet with the Acadiana Stripe pants or just use that combo one or two games.

Our throwbacks have no stripe on the jersey, so the helmet would pair with that uniform

If the Acadiana stripe was on the helmet it would not pair with the rest of the core uniforms.

No one is advocating getting rid of current uniforms, at least i am not love the core set.

Moderators i been trying to improve the realism of this style uniform, not trying to post the same thing 4 times, so you may get rid of the last 3 post, i think I finally got a realistic image, if they did this style. Thanks!

I like helmet stripes better
