    Yes, he witnessed some beautiful sights during his short stay in California, but Houston native Jaxon Olvera feels right at home as a UL Ragin’ Cajun after his first month in Lafayette.

    “I thought it was a good learning experience, and it was beautiful out there,” Olvera said of his freshman season at Pepperdine in Malibu. “Just program wise, facility wise and basketball wise, it just didn’t really pan out, so I thought it would be best for me to look at other options.”
