In Wilmington, Delaware for work and decided to catch a single high A game. Did 0 research on the teams. Duncan Pastore comes up to bat for Hudson Valley. I’m wearing a Cajuns shirt too. Nice surprise.

Got to talk to him during a weather delay. He’s enjoying himself. Is listed at 3B but DHed last night.

Said he kept up with the 2025 team and agreed it was rough. True enough.

Is basketball practice at d1 varsity level allowed right now?

You don’t realize that UL is practicing too? It’s called summer workouts.

Yes, basketball teams can work 4 hours per week with the staff as a whole for 8 weeks in summer. Players can do individual work with individual coaches in addition to team stuff. They can also work on their own on an unlimited basis. Lots of work also occurs with the strength and conditioning coach. If you follow Ragin Cajuns MBB on Instagram lots of coverage of the workouts can be found.

Gotta respect LSU's sustained success over 3 decades.

I disagree with the coach crediting the SEC schedule for their success. He was just selling future ranking boosts.

The real reason for their success in the CWS is not getting nervous once they get there. Home away from home They are comfortable in their own skin.
And paying the most in NIL money for NCAA Men's baseball helps too!
