You don’t realize that UL is practicing too? It’s called summer workouts.

Yes, basketball teams can work 4 hours per week with the staff as a whole for 8 weeks in summer. Players can do individual work with individual coaches in addition to team stuff. They can also work on their own on an unlimited basis. Lots of work also occurs with the strength and conditioning coach. I disagree with the coach crediting the SEC schedule for their success. He was just selling future ranking boosts.
