Can't. Wait.
Would not be one bit surprised if our administration tries to nix that interview.
Conversation was done from 2-3pm today. Nobody can nix it.
It was a civil chat among gentlemen. Ivey was candid, fun, self-aware, honest and full of information. Many questions discussed in this here message board were raised.
I think you guys will enjoy it.
As anyone who’s followed RR for a while knew it would be (at least from the side of the RR guys). Which is the part I wish the cowards at our university could understand. Yes the guys have strong opinions (some of them less than positive). Yes they act the @$$ on Twitter sometimes. But when it comes to that show and their guests, they run a well thought out, professional show. You don’t get some of the biggest names in college sports (from media to coaches to commissioners to ADs) and continue to do so if you just play some silly game of “gotcha” when you get them on. Why are we so damn scared they are gonna embarrass our own people? I have no doubt they would ask them some tough questions. It would be respectful and fair though. Nothing the grown ass men and women the university employs couldn’t handle. It’s nauseating to hear over and over about how we just can’t afford to market like we need to and in the next breath turn down completely free airtime from our own people. Rant off. Looking forward to listening.
"cowards at our university"
You said it right there, brother. Frickin cowards.
