Has the university said that publicly or is that something posted on their Bulldogs, Barks & Bytes website? What does the SBC have to say about that since the conference and ULM agreed to our Louisiana branding?

Were their fans pro or con on the move?

Louisiana Tech, a national research university with more than 12,000 students, joins Appalachian State University, Arkansas State University, Coastal Carolina University, Georgia Southern University, Georgia State University, James Madison University, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, University of Louisiana Monroe, Marshall University, Old Dominion University, University of South Alabama, University of Southern Mississippi, and Troy University as the 14th member following Texas State UniversityÂ’s departure to the PAC-12.

I wonder if our AD or MH will demand Tek refer to us by our athletic branding......This will be the first test for UL to see if we have any balls.

They used all of the official academic schools names just so they couldn't be called out for calling us Louisiana-Lafayette. Those people are LSU puppets and will never comply.

I don't expect anything to change on their website period. The deal is with ESPN and the SBC. Is it 2027-2028 yet?

It’s not a well kept secret. Tech is telling our admin they’ll respect our branding. In return, we voted Yes.

Do I expect them to honor their word? Of course not

their fans are already ULLing us to death on facebook, so no the little ____hole school to the north should have been left to sit in their own ____ and die a slow death in academics and athletics, the SBC should have never thrown them a lifeline

So I think the athletic dept. should do a fund raiser and sell a "We are The LOUISIANA Ragin Cajuns t-shirt or something in one color for that game like a black/white out.

LA tech shouldnt be involved in our box scores if not yet in our conference??

The administration has done everything wrong in trying to grow the fanbase. They miss on what we are as a fanbase, they just don’t get it. They refuse to listen to sound suggestions and refuse to correct continued mistakes.

What the administration has done well is sacrifice fan participation in pursuit of more revenue. Corporate money and caters to the tea sipping white collar crowd. They have grown the brand on a national level to a point we didn’t think was possible.

But, make no mistake, lack of fan participation is 90% on the athletic department and 10% on Acadiana.
