Tech to the Belt, 2026

It does sound kind of funny but if you’re not familiar with them, the Nebraska Furniture Marts are massive and normally in upscale areas and part of large retail and entertainment districts. There’s one up near Plano and they’re building one here in Cedar Park outside of Austin. They also have Sheel’s sporting goods stores (think Dick’s on steroids!) near all of them. It’s actually very impressive and way too good for CUSA.

On a serious note, I've been to the Scheels in Omaha several times. Very nice sporting goods stores. Unlike Dick's they have a huge firearms selection among other things

Forever SunBelt. As in....forever tied down with Tech and ULM while all the other good teams in the belt that were proactive and actually had some initiative, move up to a better conference. Just think how fun its gonna be to still have our ULM/Tech bUs tRiPs and facing all the rejects from other conferences and new call ups! Then we'll REALLY be top dog in our conference! All fancy with our new stadium. We'll be the envy of every team in our bottom tier conference, guys! Just think how we'll really pack em in for our vaunted series against Tech and ULM every year, though!!!

Oh no. I’ve been told that message board comments and social media posts can wreck relationships between ADs! We’ve been told for 20 years RP is single handedly responsible for suppressed attendance at games.
