How much more could TS be when they joined? Same conference.

Their facilities havent helped them at all in the SBC.

Their only advantage and it is HUGE, is that their administration knows how to advertise and promote.

Again whether you want to accept this or not, the average home FB attendance was over 21,000 for Texas St. compared to what? Maybe 15,000 being generous at UL using the whole stadium. In basketball they averaged somewhere between 6,000 to 10,000 for basketball games. UL is lucky to break 800. So again what do we offer a conference? I have asked and never got an answer. I think we need to look at our programs thru regular glasses and not rose colored ones. Especially in football where we have been a winning team. Now softball and baseball we do offer top tier programs with strong fan support.

In what Looney Toons universe was TX State averaging between 6K-10K in?

One source mentions Texas averaging 6,202 fans per game in one winter, with the number inflated by a game drawing 10,763 fans. However, this is for the University of Texas, not Texas State. (From google) I just skimmed thru it so my mistake.. here is the correction

Texas State men's basketball averaged 1,665 fans per home game in the 2023-2024 season. The total attendance for the 13 home games was 21,639. In comparison, the average attendance for their opponents was 3,198 per game, with a total of 51,175 for the season.

    Still more than us easily

This is like saying our average attendance after huds first 2 years, outliers not the norm. That was their highest since 1986

    Arkansas St

    South:
    Georgia St

    South Alabama
    ULM
    Louisiana

...average divisional road trip will be five to eight hours drive time.
Good luck separating App. and GS. They hate each other more than anything Cajuns fans can begin to comprehend.

Again what do we bring in the 2 major sports? I am only asking because I get sick at our following/attendance and until this changes UL will never be a hot commodity for an upgrade in Conference......so we are on level with Tech which we should NOT be is my point!

Poor marketing and cheap tailgating are the only two things holding Louisiana back.
