Well, far from being a "blue blood" in the sport of softball, TTU has opened up a can of worms on them because I think the actual "blue bloods? in this sport will be pushing for a lot of scrutiny their way. Ole Coach Narcissist will be under a magnifying glass. Doubt he'll be the new darling of the sport anytime soon.

Well, it’s quickly became a whole can outspend who race.

I’m so thankful the SBC kept Liberty out.

The SEC is already regretting letting Texas in.

TTU trying to be (compared to the A2) the big fish in the little pond.

Hey, if the Texas nechs can do it, why don't we? Who in RCAF can we get to talk to players on other teams that we want? Why not do the same thing for football, basketball and baseball??

I thought softball was a non revenue generating sport. So why is so much money being thrown at softball? One would think the resources would be better spent on football and men's basketball. All these millions of dollars spent on TT softball, what could the ROI be? Don't get me wrong, I love UL softball, but I would much rather be relevant in football and basketball than softball. Seems like their throwing good money after bad...for softball????

I wouldn't think the money being spent on softball would be a drop in the bucket to what you'd need for basketball or football NIL.

So approaching players while in season on other teams by anybody, is this legal or illegal? If illegal how/who should report this to the NCAA?

Tx neck found a sport where they could buy a natty. That's their ROI.

TTU is not just throwing money at softball. Their NIL collective has $55,000,000 to hand out this year.

I’m just going to ask this question. Ok, two.

If you were Coach Glasco with a collective at your disposal wanting so bad to win a NC in Softball, would you not go out and get the best players their money can buy? Would seem like he’s not doing what he was hired for if he’s not.

If we had this sort of money pool at our disposal, would we not expect Coach Habetz to do the same?
