NIL sucks _____

College sports like most everything else. It's the haves vs the have nots. Kind of sucks doesn't it.

Coastal has spent some big time NIL money on baseball. A lot more than we have.

Looks like from this data, which I'm sure most of us have seen from USA Today, Coastal Carolina pulled 38 Million of its roughly 45 Million from "allocated", ie. university and/or state funds. For us, it's roughy 18 Million of our 38 Million budget.

I know this data is a few years old and pre-NIL blowing up, but if Coastal was drawing that high a percent of their budget from school and state funds, was it because

1 - They don't have as many private donor dollars at their disposal?
2 - The private donor dollars instead set aside for NIL-type stuff?

Or does Coastal just load up NIL donors for baseball and not worry much about the other sports?
