I will never be a Coastal fan, but they deserved it and it is good for the conference. They are a very talented team.

Well, I was specifically referring to Gary Gilmore and how he coached from ‘96-‘24 with huge success. Basically laying their foundation and stayed loyal to the program with a tough nose grit similar to Robe and Cajun “water hose” baseball. I personally can see some similarities that’s all.

You can even see it in their current coaching staff no bs approach to the media defending their program and others in the G5. Very proud much like Robe/Deggs.

It’s crazy how good their pitching is.

Absolutely.

With sincere apologies, I just don't think there are many coaches anywhere who measure up to Coach Robe.

But there is no doubt in my mind that CCU is preferable to the SEC, and they probably run a cleaner program.

Granted, that is damning with faint praise.
