Agree. No one here owes him or the players who left any loyalty, but being National runner up with a program that’s never even been to a Super Regional ain’t a failure.

And the dude came to our program under a ____ circumstance that he had nothing to do with, and he did his best to keep our program winning, with seemingly a third of a fanbase rooting against him merely because of who he replaced. Remember, THAT coach tried to burn down the program on his way out.

Calling Glasco and the five girls who left failures because they lost in Game 3 of the WCWS Final is a crap take. There, I said it, and this will be all the time I spend on that article.

I hope our program can get back on track under Coach Habetz, but she’s got one hell of an uphill battle ahead of her in this new era of college sports.

The timing of him leaving put our program in a bind, but 99% of the people in the world would have done the same thing he did.

As for taking “our” players, all 5 that went with him were here because of him (and all Texas natives) that followed the coach they signed to play for originally.

It’s just the way the current landscape is.
