Give a kid a million they pitch for a year, teach a kid to take care of a field, they coach for a lifetime and love the game

I watched Glasco do an interview after it was announced she was going to Texas Tech. He was driving in his truck as the interview took place. He said Canady did not go to Texas Tech for the money. He said she did so because her parents trusted him with their daughter. End of story. Is anyone naive enough to think the money had nothing to do with it?
Wanting to do two things seems counterintuitive to the nil era. For those driven by money, Most jobs you seek a higher pay per hour, by both pitching and batting your pay per hour just went down

That's all fine and dandy, but the goal was to get to the WCWS, so they needed a top pitcher for that, not a field caretaker.

Only thing coming out of my pockets now-a-days is lint, so I have adjusted my expectations to match whatever discretionary income I am willing to part with.
Just so this is clear...Cody Campbell is footing their NIL bill for their entire athletic department. Nothing to do with the surrounding area.

So the article just straight up lied? Cody Campbell is no doubt a big supporter, maybe the biggest, but there are plenty of other very wealthy Tech people who support the school.

I thought Patrick Mahones also supported the Texas Tech softball team. He has a few dollars. I actually applaud him for supporting the school he played for.

Oklahoma walks off Tennessee with a 3-run homer with 2 outs. Sam Landry pitches complete game for victory. Oklahoma is known to have an excellent pitching coach and looks like she made Sam into the elite pitcher we were hoping she would be.

Texas Tech playing next but currently in a weather delay.

When this went down word was Canady was not happy at all but her parents pushed her very hard to accept the TT offer. It was the money. Of course everyone is gonna spin it differently. Bad look for all when you actually admit it was the money.
