I counted 9 players in the article, 3 HS signees and 6 coming from the portal or Juco. I knew this would be a crazy year to reload with 9 seniors/grad students on this pay season. But, he war down to 1 player after others left via the portal. All about money this year! I imagine a few thousand dollars could entice the average player. I enjoyed watching his team play last year, they had talent, but injuries and lack of team chemistry held them back, in my opinion.

We still have 6 spots to fill, if 15 is still the number.

I am not a fan of unbalanced recruiting. Coaches need to plan further ahead.

Top heavy one year, followed by inexperience and the risk of no one being on the same page the next scares me.

Top heavy/bare is a model used to get contract extensions not build a solid program.

I'm not disagreeing... but it occurs to me that with the portal, what is stability worth? Upperclassmen (women) are less likely to leave.

Reload? He never was loaded to begin with. Broadhead has done nothing here at UL since he has been the Women's basketball coach. Zero NCAA tournament appearances. Guess he is on the 15 year plan like Marlin.
