Caemon Scott Named University’s Overall Outstanding Graduate
Caemon Scott was honored as the University of Louisiana's overall Outstanding Graduate and will be recognized Friday and Saturday during Spring 2025 Commencement ceremonies.
Scott is the first student-athlete to earn the prestigious award since former softball player Ashley Brignac in the fall of 2011.

2011 was a magical year.
This young man is very impressive. Glad I attended the ceremony. Neat to see his buds supporting him. Got a great round of applause from alumni and faculty and staff in attendance. They know what an athlete sacrifices to achieve at a high level academically and athletically.
Did I mention that 2011 was a magical year!!
