This weekend was caused by 1/3 of the lineup not “taking care of their business”. Maybe I’m alone, but holding the players accountable, especially with a young roster, is exactly what should be happening.

I’m in agreement. Most of these kids probably have never been held accountable in their life.

Deggs was asked last night about some guys not being in the lineup that had recently been regulars.

He said “if you don’t take care of business with me, you don’t play”.

My guess is with grades recently being posted, that a few didn’t do as well as expected. But it could be being late for something or not showing up for something.

But there’s a reason some guys didn’t play last night and aren’t in the lineup tonight.

And kudos to coach for it.

Meanwhile a few hours east, Southern Miss just clinched a 9th straight 40+ win season. Both them and Coastal should probably host, and both lost legendary coaches within the past two years. Yet they just keep rolling along.
