Caemon Scott is UL Outstanding Graduate

Caemon Scott, a member of the track & field team, is the University of Louisiana overall Outstanding Graduate.

Scott is among eight award finalists who will be recognized Friday and Saturday during Spring 2025 Commencement ceremonies. Individual ceremonies for UL’s eight academic colleges will be held at the Cajundome and the Cajundome Convention Center.

He also won gold twice on relay teams at the SBC Outdoor, and paced his best-ever in the 200.

WOW, the top three grade point average students awarded were from the colleges of BIOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND NURSING.

4.0 in BIOLOGY
3.97 in ENGINEERING (MECHANICAL)
3.72 in NURSING

All the g.p.a.s seem lower than usual. A 3.97 in acctg or engineering seems way harder to get than a 3.5 in education.

How does general studies, liberal arts and education now get three separate slots?

If so engineering should get more than one
