'No excuses in this business': UL baseball looks to bounce back in final SBC series

It was a nightmare in Hattiesburg for Louisiana baseball as it got swept for the first time since early March.

The Ragin’ Cajuns (25-27, 15-12 SBC) traveled to their rivals, No. 21 Southern Mississippi, and the three-game series couldn’t have gone any worse.

Run rules, injuries and bad weather summed up the weekend that the Cajuns had, and head coach Matt Deggs would love to erase it from their memory.

Some of the young guys have flashed some hope at the plate and in the field. Another year of work with some summer/fall ball could be big for the next two seasons.
