Well he said "overall" ergo athletics and academics, so curiosity as to what his academics was seems in line. I first heard small talk about the possibility at the end of June. No surprise if she is the hire. If she is the hire and she stays at UL for a while it should pay off for future recruiting. Regardless who the hire is it will be interesting to see how they handle the staff.
