The best player this past year at STM and you seem to always bring up her STM stats. Not knocking the kid. She's good but there are many that I believe are better who wanted to come to UL and weren't given the opportunity. Therefore, I believe and trust that there is a reason she was passed over by Glasco and now the new coaching staff.

I don't know much about the 2025 class but what little I do know, 4 of the 6 are playing high level travel ball this summer and doing well in those top tournaments. I don't know why you aren't very high on this class but I think they will be okay from what little I've seen with my own eyes and heard from talking to people.

I just suggest that all of us get behind this next team. 4 of the 6 incoming 2025 are Louisiana girls. That will put this team at 12 Louisiana girls, if my math is correct. 2 transfer portal, 4 incoming class, 6 current roster. I believe they will be playing for something and it isn't just about them. It's about the pride and the name of Cajuns across their chest. If the girls do that, they will be just fine.
....what about hitting and pitching coaches?

Asking for a friend of a friend yet again: What about hitting and pitching coaches?

Being held up by MH not giving them a start date until athletic depatment demonstrates ability to cut couple of million from expenditures. No opening for assistants in all sports is being given the go ahead until that happens.

Both baseball and football have hired assistants in the past two weeks.

Baseball has made an offer. No contract signed or start date approved by MH. Nothing official.

The bolded print in the above quote is totally irrelevant. Where they come from does not matter. Everything else I agree with

Well then screw it. Prejean and Habetz will just run the program themselves and no other coaches??? Wow.

I have been on this site since April of 2005. Every season I get calls and text from parents asking who so and so is because they get offended when someone mentions their kids name. This site is really built for the common fan who doesn't have any skin in the game, eg...Kids playing sports at UL. In my opinion it is best practice for soon to be players, current players and former players and their parents to just read this site and not post. It's not hard to find out who someone is that is posting on this site even if you hide behind a screen name. Justin Robicheax said it best, just don't get on RP and social media and you don't have to worry about all the background noise. Parents and players posting on this site doesn't help anyone out at all. I am hoping Alyson monitors that more than Glasco did. Geaux Cajuns.
