This site is really built for the common fan who doesn't have any skin in the game, eg...Kids playing sports at UL. In my opinion it is best practice for soon to be players, current players and former players and their parents to just read this site and not post. It's not hard to find out who someone is that is posting on this site even if you hide behind a screen name. Justin Robicheax said it best, just don't get on RP and social media and you don't have to worry about all the background noise. Parents and players posting on this site doesn't help anyone out at all. I am hoping Alyson monitors that more than Glasco did. Geaux Cajuns.
I'll add to that TRAVEL BALL Coaches shouldn't read or post on here either!! HAHAHAHA

I can tell you there are HUNDREDS of posts on this site (softball specific) that I have read and not agreed with, been factually way off from the truth, dogging of young ladies that only 1/2 the facts are known, and some that have down right ____ed me off to be quite honest and had me wanting so bad to give some context or some history on certain players and their actual abilities (none are my daughters btw, lol).......but with that there are more posts and comments with GREAT info and perspectives as well and I can appreciate those also.

BUT, I am guilty of coming back to get fans' perspectives on the team and players so I have to be ok with seeing the bad along with the good!! The reason I have/will always refrain from entering those discussions is because I am a fan of every one of these young ladies (sure I have an opinion on each one) and want to see each succeed. I guess I don't fall under the "common fan" and that's ok. I also understand that everyone on here has the right to have an opinion and most on here have a vested interest in each and every player but even more so to the success of the Program and cULture that comes with being a Cajuns Fan!!!

    ****entering back into "read-only"**** LOL

It speaks for itself. You think other big Power schools Fans are worried about these little things when they make posts to a FAN message board?
This is a place where we come to _____, complain, and speak the truth and not the truth sometimes. LOL.

Let me tell you some things you may not realize. That vote for “hardest worker” was done by senior classmates. Everyone had to win an award. Out of the two signees in the 2025 class, one was voted most likely to become a professional athlete. Hardest worker could mean hardest worker in school, with activities, etc.

High school stats mean nothing. It’s been stated multiple times on here. Yeah, she’s good in high school. But what about in travel ball? She plays on a weak team, she doesn’t stand out on that team and isn’t a slam dunk of a player. Is she good? Yes. But not what you keep making her out to be. She has potential and will do great at Creighton.

Have faith in the coaching staff. Glasco passed on her and Habetz has. There has to be a reason. Right now, let’s celebrate the girls we have.
    Sara, put the phone down.

Forget power schools. There is no other university on the planet with 2,000 core, donating fans who believes that those same people voicing their opinions is what is holding the school back. Only here. It’s a part of the cULLture!

According to RCAF we have 1390 donating fans. The other 610 are just fans

Maybe they can use the 1390 donating fans money and hire some coaches before it's to late.
