What happened to the old fashioned way of teaching someone how to become a power hitter. I seem to recall a texas tech freshman that had zero homeruns transfer to UL, get coached up, and lead nation in homers

In order for that to happen you need someone on staff to actually be able to coach them up.

Thanks, why would we not want that? Seems easier to acquire one than all the transfer ruminations.

You forgot SS Cecilia Vasquez. Even limiting myself to returnees and recruits , I am not sure I totally agree. Both Chayne Allen and Raenna Liscano among returnees and recruit Haley Hart could crack into the lineup as well.

Call me whatever, but I sure hope that's not the lineup. Vasquez has another year of eligibility, so she'll likely be SS and Liscano back to 2nd. Emily at first base. 3rd base may be an incoming freshman. OF will be Dayzja and Lily the other spot will hopefully be a portal power hitter. I'd like to see a bigger bat at catcher with a bigger arm.

I think, when the first game is played next year, the starting lineup will look nothing like this. There are some girls you have penciled in, who, I think, will not even be on the team. We'll just have to wait and see.
