Maya Johnson — Pitcher, Belmont still in the portal. What would it take to get someone like this to Cajun country? Besides $$$$

The left-handed All-American junior led all Division I pitchers in multiple statistical categories this season, including strikeouts (366), strikeout-to-walk ratio (16.64), shutouts (11), strikeouts per seven innings (12.4), walks allowed per seven innings (.74), and hits allowed per seven innings (3.82). Her ERA, 1.52, ranked seventh nationally.

    1. About Oklahoma pulling their offer to her? That is a fact.
    2. About her not producing at LSU when given opportunities? That is a fact.
    3. About her probable starting position 3rd base? Sis has got SS locked up. Liscano got 2B locked up. Smith has 1B locked up. Can Manning play catcher, pitcher or in the outfield?

Do your best to dispute these facts T-boy.
Nobody is projected anywhere yet. That depends on who is brought in. I don't think the staff has Marceaux projected to catch as first option.
