Maybe, we need more ranting to move the needle, because based on what I've heard, KM wanted to come home and had a relationship with CAH. As nice as this decision by her is for our program, nothing else has happened this off season other than firing 2 coaches. Not a good look to not have these positions filled. Timing with the portal would dictate making this happen quickly, or suffer the consequences. If we don't see some positive moves being made PDQ, you have to question the direction of our softball program.

There is no urgency if you think you only need 3 in the portal. Now we lost a 4 yr starter on the mound that you had already penciled in. Now you need 4 in the portal. And the elite talent that you need is getting gobbled up…

We didn't lose any 4 year pitchers and softball doesn't have a mound. In my opinion we need a C, 2-Pitchers, 2-Outfielders from the portal.

Its 100% nothing to do with money. She just signed a one year lease on an apartment last week. Her heart is in Lafayette and she has had a hard time with this. Not having a coach hired or in mind is concerning to me. Also there is some scheduling concerns. I know the whole story.
