The player can announce anything at any time. The school is not supposed to make an announcement until the player is signed. So, yes, once signed, the school can announce the signing the same day.

Folks don't realize that around 1500 players are in the portal and that list is growing every day. Maybe 30 players have actually signed with a team.

Not sure how reliable this information is but a good friend of mine that resides in Kaplan told me that the word in Kaplan is that Kennedy's choice is down to UL and Ole Miss. Really hoping that Kennedy chooses the Cajuns. It would be a great homecoming for the young lady and a huge get for the softball program.
