Last year, when Sam Landry declared for the portal, she was told to clear out her locker. That sounds pretty much like she would not have been welcomed back if she didn't find a new home.

If you enter the transfer portal… 99% of the time, your college coach is not letting you back on to your original college team..

This is why nearly 50% of softball athletes never play college softball again.

Once you’re in the portal, your coach now has to fill your spot…

It’s like asking your husband/wife for a divorce & then asking them to take you back when you realize no one else wants you...
