Softball Offseason

As I pointed out yesterday, that there would be more than 1,000 players in the softball portal, there are currently a little over 1100. Almost 600 of which are division one players. When are the Cajuns going to pull the trigger? I'm getting a little nervous that the Cajuns may not be going in that direction. Coastal Carolina's season ended yesterday. It was announced today, one of their players is transferring to Georgia. Things are happening quickly.

Not really; lack of vast sums of money should not stop us from contacting prospects. We have a great product here, we should be selling that, along with hearing what our prospects want in terms of NIL. Every player you want and do not call is saying no to you anyway; so call them and give them a chance to say yes.

I doubt it if Beth is let go. But she is probably on the hot seat for next year?

That poor kid first had a 'fracture in her back' then had a bone removed from her wrist. I wish her a Healthy future. She seemed to have bad luck here. She will have 4 yrs elligibility.

If we cracked down on credits would that alleviate the number of transfers. I remember i tried to transfer from accounting to economics while at USL and they wouldnt even let me do that, but now any school, any credit, any time, no questions asked, makes no sense
