Welp its July 8th, 2025 and still no pitching coach and still not hitting coach. wow.

Deggs and Coach Q didn't play around. The Cajuns need every coach in every sport to be a RELENTLESS RECRUITER!

It actually used to be alot easier to recruit to UL softball which has been a national power for decades, but now we just lack the NIL funds. It changed overnight for us basically.

Well she didnt play HS softball, not sure about travel ball...lol

Deggs 1A & 1B choices were denied by the athletic department because of funds.

I’d bet softball is facing the same problems.

So Coach Q didn't have to over come the recruiting to UL versus the recruiting to UH? He found a way and found the NIL money quickly.

All coaches need to fund raise NIL because the administraion will not or does not want to put the effort in just to stay competetive with our peers. It won't change until the Authement cronies/culture is gone.
