The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team's semifinal contest in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Tournament in Troy, Alabama has been moved to a morning start on Friday, May 9 due to the expectation of inclement weather.

Louisiana (29-24) and Coastal Carolina (39-17) are now scheduled to begin play at 10:00 a.m. from the Troy Softball Complex.

The winner claims a spot in the SBC Championship Tournament's championship game that's set for 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 10 on ESPN2.

A chance for redemption vs. the beach chickens. We lost that series but were 3 outs from a series win. We gave up a 3-run lead in the 7th in game 1 to lose 5-4. Scored 8 in game 2 but pitching just got hit up. Then outlasted them in game 3 that was a bit closer than the 9-5 score.
