With that said, really like her. She didn’t have the stuff you’re looking for out of a major D1 arm. But she competed and seemed mentally tougher than a lot of arms I’ve seen around the country. Exactly the leadership you love to see out of a senior.
Ryan has been tough as nails the second half of the season, both starting and in relief. from the ULM series until season's end, Ryan appeared in 9 games, pitching a total of 41.1 innings and giving up 8 earned runs, for an ERA of 1.35. Three of those appearances were 6 innings or more.

The 7 and the 9 seed will play in the finals. Makes this feel a bit worse.

Damn this stinks, but it’s probably just as well to end it on this note and begin working to rebuild this thing.

What is the softball end game? After a few years of swiping g5 players for NIL, even with a national title or 2 or 3, even the best of the p4 programs wont make the amount of extra money being spent, so what happens then?

Could sunbelt have tried this to get an extra bid?

No. Nobody in the SBC was going to get an at Large bid; certainly not James Madison, who had an RPI of 98. Even Coastal at 42 RPI wasn't getting an at large if they had lost Saturday. USF [34] was the only at large outside the P4.

They cancelled the final game so both teams are tourny champs.... no at large bid... 2 auto slots?

Both Texas aTm and Oklahoma are Top 8 National seeds. The only reason for them to play a championship game is for bragging rights in the SEC. Both were going to be in the Tournament no matter what.
