Do we want Coastal or Marshall tomorrow? We have a revenge motive against both. I kind of hope for Marshall. The lefty from Coastal is nasty, and I doubt anyone else will pitch for Coastal unless she is getting rocked.

Not overall, but since April 1, the best pitcher in the conference is at UL. The best pitching staff in the conference right now is either UL or Texas State.

Picone pitched a complete game yesterday for Coastal. Since our series with them, she is 9-7. I think the 200+ innings she has pitched this year is catching up with her. Their # 2 is 1-2 since our series. I can't argue about the bats.

Who gets the nod in the circle for the Cajuns tomorrow? Ryan or Clary?They may each pitch half a game. I guess it depends on who we face match up wise. Also the Cajuns may revert to the old days and pitch Wheeler again since she only threw 80 pitches.

Ryan. She has an ERA of 2.65 in conference games; Clary's is 3.83. The whole staff will be available, though. We can't worry about Saturday. If I was a betting man, I would say Ryan then Clary. Another reason to go with Ryan against power hitting teams is that she has only given up 3 home runs all year.
