Good thing is they seem to have hit a stride pitching. Less walks helps that cause.

The lack of power in the offense continues to be a limiting factor. But when you pitch it covers up that weakness. It’s showed the last few conference series.

Game 1 at Marshall too. Had the lead in the 6th. Only 1 run, but that win would have put us tied for 1st. I think TXST or ULM playing each other would have worked everything out. Sad thing is we won those series against both.

TX State is currently beating ULM 2-0 in the 3rd. If they win and the Cajuns hold on, we would get the 3 seed in the conference tournament.
