SB: Persistent Effort Leads Cajuns Past Bobcats in Series Opener

Louisiana plays its final road games of the regular season during a three-game series at Texas State from Friday-Sunday, April 25-27.

The visit to San Marcos closes the Spring Break road trip to Texas that began Tuesday in College Station at No. 2 Texas A&M.

UL is one week removed from its first sweep in SBC play this season.

The sweep of South Alabama over Easter Weekend vaulted the Cajuns into seventh place in the SBC standings.

Louisiana seeks to move closer to clinching a spot in the SBC Tournament, and improve its position a second straight week.

UL's four straight SBC wins is a season-best streak.
