Rightfully so. Privately owned companies with terms of service every user agrees to.
Bakers shouldn't be forced to make cakes for anyone they don't want to, and social media companies shouldn't be forced to keep an account active that violates their terms of service.
I have heard many different interpretations of our protected freedom of expression.
The guarantee is strictly governmental; our government cannot block it. And so in a public space, on my private property, or on a platform that I own, I enjoy freedom of expression.
That guarantee is not valid on someone else's property or platform. None of us would allow anyone to say anything they wanted in our homes, in a business we own, or on a publication/website we control.
Turbine allows us wide latitude, but he does not have to. Ragin' Pagin' is his private property.
People keep insisting that privately controlled media must allow them to say what they want. That is inaccurate.
