Quentin Carrier, exploring his property in Church Point stumbled across something unusual, an object covered in mud and clay, with odd ridges that looked tooth-like.

Very cool.
My Great Uncle, Ralph Brasseaux, had discovered a fossil in Henry. It used to be displayed in the USL library a long time ago. I think it was from a Triceratops.
The fossil Mr. Ralph found was a mastodon tooth. I was in a Zoology class with Dr. Eyster (head of biology dept) in the early 80s & he showed us the tooth. At that time the tooth was in the biology museum. Being from Henry, that weekend, I spoke to Mr. Ralph & told him Dr. Eyster showed us the tooth. Mr. Ralph was ____ed because he said the biology dept. said they would give him the tooth back, but never returned it to him.
