Louisiana's Malan Potgieter capped off the opening day of the Aggie Invitational with an even-par 72 and finished in a fourth-place tie as the Ragin' Cajuns Golf team was third overall after 36 holes at Traditions Club at Texas A&M.
Louisiana's Malan Potgieter recorded his fifth top-5 performance of the season, firing a 2-under-par 70 in the final round and helping the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team to a tie for third place at the Aggie Invitational on Sunday at the Traditions Club.
If you’re looking for some positivity this spring, UL golf team is quietly having a very nice year.
Team is hovering around a top 70 ranking, and Potgieter should be a lock for the NCAA Regionals as an individual.
Cajuns will be one of the favorites in the Sun Belt Tournament next week. Little more competitive depth on this team than in recent years. Nice to see.
Very nice performance and very good to see us having some success for a change.
