According to Robe at a Difference Makers meeting I hosted a couple of years ago, we did offer him and it came down to us and Alabama and we had a real shot at him. Robe said it came down to facilities and UL was very sub par and Alabama won out.

Yes ... True. If u read the article I in the DA today it was stated it was between ul and bama he chose bama but he was offered here And brought in for an official visit according to sources.

well, let's look at the depth.

Griffin (1B) has been hurt. Bostick (2B) hsa been hurt and is hitting a buck and a half. Fontenot's backup is playing third base. Switzenburg just hasn't worked out. In the outfield, Nichols and Bowman are hurt.

We have depth....just check the DL.
