Cajuns down to 3 outs. Clutch hit for the Warhawks in the 7th looks like it could be the difference. Cajuns haven’t scored since the 4th inning.

This team has given up on the year from top to bottom. I don’t remember which game it was, but one of the midweeks in the last couple of weeks I noticed our coaches in the dugout. Completely lifeless. They’re ready for this year to be over.

There’s an odd feeling of comfort that just came over me after this loss. I can turn this team off for the rest of the year and I’ll be doing just that. Maybe I’ll pick it up again for the SBC tourney (if we make it).

I have watched average to less than average teams that were entertaining. This just isn't that right now. Better times lay ahead.

Seen this too many times as a Cajun baseball fan.

Team goes on a regional run, then there’s this lull in the program due to recruiting misses, which falls on the coaching staff, who is then the one that fixes the problem that they caused, so they get contract extensions when they go on a regional run, which is then followed by a lull in the program, so then they get to fix the problem they caused again. And everyone comes in and says, well he’s fixed it before, so he’ll fix it again.

We want to be a player in college baseball, we can’t have seasons like this every 3-4 years, which was common under Robe and is now happening under Deggs.

Writing was on the wall early Texas southern game and southern game. Serious roster turnover needed in the offseason.

Similar sentiments. Not going to shut them off completely. Just feeling easier about not investing much emotion into it right now.

I took the whole week off of diamond sports. Didn’t watch or listen to a pitch since last Sunday. I did check in on the live stats every now and again, but it was nothing new. We know what both teams are and as a fan you just say “oh well” at this point. It’s mid April.

Enjoyed the weather. Watched a ton of the Masters. Feeling fine.
