She did. But I think the coaching staff wastes a lot of pitches. Case in point. There were some hitters in JMU line-up hitting below .200. If I was Shelbi, I would go right at them. Instead, we went full counts on them trying to nibble corners. Just go right at them and if they hit it, they hit it.

To your point, this staff rarely if ever throws 2 called strikes in a row. We never throw a strike on a 2-2 count. It seems that if the batter keeps the bat on their shoulder, we will get to a full count. I’m with you, we waste a ton of pitches

And a very important win. As a side note, watching the replay, Dan McDonald is still so bad and so annoying.
