This. So many people talking about “development”. What I see are a bunch of guys struggling to compete at this level. Doing more harm than good.

I tried to defend this team, but we are just putrid. This isn’t 5 game weeks or injuries or youth. This is poor fundamentals and bad baseball. If this program is gonna recover, Deggs, Leger, and Thibodeaux need to own this turd and throw all the excuses out the window.

Error by pitcher, walk, hit batter, error on the second half of obvious double play ball, hit batter, 4 pitch walk. UTRGV has bases loaded, 1 out, 2 runs in, and they have earned NOTHING. Youth and injuries are no excuse for how poor this team is fundamentally. Deggs and Co. need to refocus this offseason. Quit worrying about being “uncommon” and causing “chaos.” Robe must be rolling in his grave.

Pitching and defense has left the program. Boot camp seal training garbage how about throwing strikes and fielding the damn ball. We are headed toward a debacle year when the pre season hype was big. Self evaluation needed did we recruit the wrong players.
