Louisiana Men's Tennis late rally came up just short against Troy, falling 4-3 on Senior Day. The Cajuns trailed 3-0 before forcing a decisive final set.

The visitors took a 3-0 lead after winning the doubles point and matches on courts one and three. Mason Landreth got them on the board with a 6-1, 6-4 win, with three matches to play in which Troy won the opening set. Darius Balan won his match in three sets, 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 to make it 3-2. Samuel Kyjaci tied the score with a win on court four, 0-6, 6-2, 6-2. The match came down to court two where Vasil Dimitrov was deadlocked in as even a match that could be played. Despite it going back and forth, he could not pull it out in a third set, falling 6-7, 7-6, 5-7.

Louisiana closes the regular season next week on the road, beginning with James Madison on Saturday.
